frustration...

I finally started diddling with some songs again, and I've come across one that has all the correct elements..

rocking drums? check
old school synth lead line? check
sick bass line? check
dope hip hop sample? check

but none of the parts works together well. I thought this track was in the bag, but it looks like I'm going to have to start from scratch... but I have great hopes...
