the majority of 2009 has been spent looking for a house, bidding on 3 houses, buying one and then extensive home repairs down to the studs and all. I was originally going to just set up in one of the small basement bedrooms, but a water leak necessitated a reconstruction of the room.

As much of a pain in the ass as this is, I'm going to wind up with a room that will finally feel like a proper studio, made all the better by my getting to design the room setting and ambiance. I don't know if this is going to help me creatively in any way, but I sure am looking forward to spending time there. That in itself might help me get into the music making groove, and THAT can never be a bad move ;
