are we really in a musical movement lull?

I can't tell if I'm stuck in a rut because of my age as I change in my 30s, or if there really is a glut in terms of musical movements right now. but I've got a good feeling about 2010. I also predict some wicked music coming out of berlin when the hipsters stop moving there.
