I've been contemplating buying the basic entry version of Cubase 5 in order to work on mixdowns for my musical productions, but I have to say that now with the release of Propellerheads Record, which officially drops in September, I'm sticking with PHeads.
I'm not at liberty to discuss the program due to the NDA from the Beta test, but let's just say I'm thoroughly impressed.
