Marco Bernardi - Switches, Drawers And Washing Machines - Frustrated Funk

I spent part of last night listening to the first album release on Frustrated Funk records, by Marco Bernardi. 'Switches, Drawers And Washing Machines' was released in November of 2009; I'm not sure if HardWax and Clone have copies of the original limited edition vinyl, or if this is a re-press, but there are some standard, solid gems that should be in your crates or hard-drive. My picks below, recommended!

'Travelling Through Borders' deep chunky groover of an electro tune. Aggressive and menacing via the arrangement, rather than BPMs and tough drums. Listen

'The Light of Lights' six in the morning sunrise faded, last cigarette in the crumped pack, music. Listen

'Sonic Sunrise' remember what made the classic Elecktroids album so great? Bernardi captures that vibe perfectly on this mellow electro/techno hybrid. Listen

'Switches, Drawers and Washing Machines' creepier than Dopplereffekt with that headphon freakfunk vocal running through this paranoid kitchen-knife groover. Listen

You can cop that via Clone or Hardwax.
