Straight Outta Compton....er Berlin

There's nothing like travel to put things into perspective. Coming from Texas, I was used to seeing heads blasting hip hop and bass music from their rides. I really had to do a double take that 3 AM morning in Berlin as we pulled in to fill up on petrol. I heard pounding techno coming from nearby, and as I turned, I saw 4 young homies, all short cropped hair and leather jackets, mugging down hard and smoking cigarettes leanin on an e30 M3. They were giving off the gangster posturing, except instead of American gangster rap, they were bumping this record. Nuts.   City of Bass: blogging daily about the electro music scene.
