I've been a fan of Nick Wicked for some time now. He's just dropped a new long player, 'E.M.F' out on Intellegenix Records. Nick's got a full grasp of electro bass, and the album presents a good range and diversity of sounds, but by far the cuts that resonate the most with me are his full on bangers: not too hard, not too soft.. in fact just the right mixture of ingredients that will keep energetic crowds engaged, and the DJs who play to them happy. City of Bass picks: 'At The End of the Universe', 'Beatkeeper', 'Children of God', 'Braver One', and on the headphone/late AM tip deep space lushness of 'Electronic Dreams'.
