Neonicle - Synthetic Voodoo Night - Russian Techno Records

I've been sitting on this one for a while, and never got around to posting it. I think I originally got wind of it via the good homie DVS NME, who along with London's DVNT appears to be on a mission to find and share as much awesome music as possible.

I don't mind having a late pass though.. in these days and times, music comes and goes in the flash of a pan - DJs and music aficianado's don't give records enough room to breathe and live anymore. Before the digital era, it was the drum n bass junglist culture that were most guilty of this - they were so obsessed with the newest and unreleased joints, that a lot of really good music never even made it to official release, with DJ's hoarding their dubplates like bastard snakemen witholding healing charms from their people. Little did they know how much the digital age would surpass them - but at least they kept a dubplate in their box for a while, and worked those records.

Today? Not so much... that's really a long winded rant to say that this longplayer record from Russian producer Neonicle, entitled 'Synthetic Voodoo Night' is incredible listening - this artist has their finger on the pulse of dopeness, and manages to maintain a cohesive feeling to an album thats comprised of a bunch of different styles. I'm digging on this very much, and I think you will to.

No embeds on this one, but you can preview and listen to the entire album on the Russian Techno net label, as well as download the entire thing gratis.
