Clatterbox - Storm Drain - Trust

The title track of 'Storm Drain' is the definition of kopfnicken and sounds as if Mr. Kempston has been spending time burning cigarettes in early AM Kreuzberg. 'Machine Code' balances nicely with this vibe, and the 'Kernel Panic' cut that ends this four tracker is on some funky, burn-one-with-sen-dog type s--t.

In fact this entire record speaks Berlin to me... and to me this city, like the music of Clatterbox and other artists I write about here is hardcore, uncompromising, raw... you can have the glam and exclusive doormen and attitude s--t back, but no shots at any uber exclusive Berlin clubs though. Well, maybe a little shot ;)

Recommended, and available in vinyl via Hardwax and Clone, and digitally as well.
