Scape One - Tone Cluster: The 2nd Diversion - Re-Issue

Scape One's back catalogue is kind of like Jesus' basket with the loaves of bread and fish - bottomless. A lot of these cuts I have on vinyl from back in the day, but given in those days you were paying $12 to $15 dollars per piece of vinyl, you had to be a rich boy to get your collector nerd on - it's a pleasure discovering cuts that I missed and at a price that fits my 'gotta-keep-the-son-fed' budget.

'Tone Cluster: The 2nd Diversion' is one of those, and it hits on a lot of the right levels. From the artist....

First time in digital format, the Scape One Tone Cluster project continues with further experiments covering the darker side of Electro and Techno where genre definitions are ignored and destroyed.

It's always been my contention that electro music goes way deeper than a certain breakbeat pattern. I know there's heads that will disagree with me, as I found out years ago when I did an Electro Showcase for the Vocode Project with this thought in mind, but for me electro really is a 'vibe' - This album captures that vibe perfectly - don't get it twisted though, there's plenty of electro drums in this to get you open. If you're on that true-school frame of mind, give this a listen and let me know if we can meet in the middle ;) Recommended.
