Rebirth on the iPad - Useless for Studio Sessions? But What About Live Performance?

I recently asked a bunch of the music production brethren on the secret spy network organized by the NSA and fronted by a goofy looking executive kid Facebook about their thoughts and experiences with the Propellerhead's Rebirth app for the iPad. A lot of the feedback centered around it being useless as a studio tool, which I largely disagree with - classic records have been made with second hand broken equipment for example, but as a live performance application? You could seriously destroy a live PA by using 3 Rebirth apps on the 3 iPads in a PA setting - using each as a particular instrument for example. And you could do all of this for less than half the cost of getting the original equipment on ebay.

This embedded video is a great example of a cat channeling the Frankfurt acid trance sound using Rebirth and the iPad. Wicked.
