Finally... VST support in Propellerheads Reason (sort of).. plus Reason Mobile!

Big news from the Music Messe event in Frankfurt today. Propellerhead's are releasing a new app for iOS that is based on the Reason sound engine, but is designed for the new retina display. The going price for this? $1.00

Incredible.. perfect for on the go composing - can you imagine banging it out on Kong or Thor in a mobile manner? And I understand it will integrate with your home studio install of Reason (Not 100% sure on this though)

The bigger news? Propellerhead's are finally opening the rack to 3rd party developers.. but not in the form of VST's as expected. 'Rack Extensions" and the new iOS app are coming in Q2 2012.. all the current details are up thanks to Createdigitalmusic, who lived blogged the whole announcement.
