Beat Rocket Volume 4 - Prodamkey Records

I normally come from the "build long deep intricate sets" school of thought when it comes to DJ'ing, but the Big Up Basslines guest mix is on the "get down to business" tip - the mix starts out tough with the dexter track and #2 in the set comes from Italy's Max Durante, a producer whose music I've been following for quite some time now. 'Day by Day' is that perfect blend of funk assault beats, an ass-shaking swing for the dancers and a touch of space melodies drifting around - the energy is up but not quite at full steam at this point. The cut comes from the Beat Rocket Volume 4 EP from Rome's Prodamkey Records.
