tape808 and tape909

Goldbaby's tape-saturated 808 and 909 refills are a must if you're doing electronic music production. Yes you can find free 808 samples on the net, but you get what you pay for so to speak, and I must say even the free sound demo's dont do this justice.

I bought both the Tape808 and Tape909 packs (for a reasonable $24 per pack) recently and holy smokes did I scare the neighbors when I started running these through ReDrum and my studio monitors. These samples truly do stand out from the fodder, and you can tell the man spent some time crafting a set of sound samples for music producers. The next best thing to owning a real one. ( Alternatives include the brilliant D16 Nepheton and Drumazon, if VST's are your bag. )

You get hundreds of individual samples, dry and processed as well as 1o or so redrum refills to get you started. This gets the official Mad Wax seal of approval.
