Kurt Baggaley a.k.a Scape One has been busy re-releasing a number of his classic vinyl releases via his own bandcamp set up, and we now have Planet Funk Express Journey 1 and 2 available digitally. Originally released on Electrix Records in 2002, Kurt's also been sorting exclusive bonus tracks and out-takes from the original studio sessions never heard before as part of the package. All of this is dopeness, but I in particular remember jamming the first track off of Journey 1, 'Retropolitan' at a warehouse bunker in Denver early in the morning hours and seeing the crowd poppin 'off. Still sounding as fresh today, go get some of that good unkut. Also recommended, check a few recent Scape One releases on the excellent Militant Science label.
