roland fantom x6

during a production session for my day job, the audio engineer let me mess around with his Roland Fantom X6 - I've never been much of a hardware dude, mostly because of money and space constraints, but as I flipped through the myriad of sounds in the keyboard, I realized I could realize use this as a all in one production keyboard -

doing the music I do, I dont have too much use currently for the more traditional instruments, but the synth leads, basses and stabs/pads in this keyboard were stellar. I had a few song idea's already in my head just from playing around with it, and its really another example of how quickly I can come up with idea's when playing with hardware- the same thing happens when I flip with my Virus Acces A or my homies Roland JP-8080 - I seem to vibe in a different way that with my software/midi set up...

if I had the $$, I can't say I wouldn't pony up for this device!
