the next and more important question I have is: can I sell the refill after spending most of 2009 creating multi-sampled nn-XT/combinator routings for the 1000's of pre-sets in the instrument? without pissing off the publisher of the software?
due to a variety of circumstances, I didn't get to do too much music bizzle this weekend, other than check out one of my EP projects for a future Vocode release and determine that some of the sounds need replacement. But I did get deep into multi-sampling some of my synths for a custom refill creation. This process is long and arduous, but also rewarding - you learn a lot about the synth you're sampling from, for example. And it's nice to revisit musical instruments you haven't spent time with in a while. I know the next question - why not use the synth in context rather than audio multi-sampling. Honestly, I dont have a good reason other than I prefer to work in Reason in stand-alone method, and that's just how I roll.
