Propellerheads Record software drops today. Recording live instruments and vocals currently does not interest me, but I see it as a great expansion of Reason and it will come in useful. However, it's hardware requirements are a bit more than my 2003 dell laptop can handle- as such I will need a new machine before I can obtain record. I may have to stick it out utilizing Reason and Cubase for the time being, until I can save up enough loot to purchase a 24" imac.
Also on the agenda is setting up a time with my good friend who is storing my records, to bring them home. I drove down to his place last weekend and took a look - thats a lot of records to haul. I imagine I'm going to be kept busy encoding digital copies for the next 20 years ;)
