Classic Dr. Dre Mix Tapes (1985-1989)

A few years back, I came across one of the old school Dr. Dre swap-meet mixtapes and posted in on the Vocode Project as part of the 'Vocode Recommends' series. I just came across some cat who compiled a bunch of the old school classic Dre mixtapes in one handy blog drop. I haven't had a chance to flip through all of them, but from the few I've listened to it seems like Dre used to do hip hop on side A of his tapes, and electro and bass music on side B, if that matters to you. Great look into the west coast era scene. Follow through for the goodness.
