Super solid 4 tracker EP of liquid, organic funky slow motion techno on this record by Negroni Nails, definitely one for what I’ve always called working DJs. You know the ones, grinding it out laying down cuts at seedy bars and small trash discotheques, where the vibes are thick, the drugs heady and the liquor flowing. The entire EP is worth the parting of cash for, but one particular cut stands out, the final track entitled“Passive Attention.” Morphing walking bass lines and hints of seedy Detroit towers, this will be getting into rotation in the Mad Wax crates.
